Privacy Policy
Last updated September 21, 2026
This policy explains how Alto Peptides (“Alto”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through altopeptides.com and in the course of doing business with our customers. We keep what we collect to a minimum.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit a form on our website — a B2B account application, a contact message or a COA request — we collect what you enter: typically your name, email address, organization, organization type, country, phone number, website, the products you’re interested in and your message.
If you become a customer, we also keep the information needed to fulfil orders: billing and shipping addresses, order history and invoices.
Information collected automatically
When you submit a form, we store a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string, used only to prevent spam and abuse. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver the website and protect it from attacks.
Cookies: this website does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from automated abuse. Fonts and other assets are served from our own domain.
How we use information
- to review account applications and verify that buyers meet our research-use requirements;
- to respond to your messages and COA requests;
- to process, ship and support orders, and to keep business records;
- to prevent fraud, spam and misuse of our website and products;
- to comply with legal obligations.
We don’t send marketing email unless you have asked to receive it, and you can opt out at any time.
How we share information
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with:
- service providers who help us run the business — website hosting (Cloudflare), email, payment processing and shipping carriers — and only as needed for them to perform those services;
- professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, under a duty of confidentiality;
- authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights, customers or the public.
Retention
We keep application and contact records for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a business relationship, and order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting laws require. Records we no longer need are deleted.
Security
The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to submitted information is restricted to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to object to or restrict certain processing. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, use our contact form; we may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
Children
Our website and products are intended for adult professional buyers. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
