What our products are — and are not

Products supplied by Alto Peptides (“Alto”, “we”, “us”) are research chemicals. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, foods, food additives, cosmetics or medical devices. They have not been approved or evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other regulatory authority for any use in humans or animals, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or condition.

Nothing on this website, on product labels, in certificates of analysis or in any communication from Alto is a claim, recommendation or instruction about using any product in or on a human or animal.

Who may purchase

By purchasing from Alto, you represent and warrant that:

• you are at least 21 years of age;
• you are purchasing on behalf of, or in your capacity as, a qualified research organization or professional with the training, facilities and authorization to handle research chemicals safely;
• products will be used only for lawful in-vitro laboratory research, and will not be administered to, ingested by, injected into, or applied to humans or animals;
• you will comply with all laws and regulations that apply to the purchase, import, possession, handling, storage, use and disposal of the products in your jurisdiction.

Handling

Products must be handled only by qualified personnel using appropriate laboratory safety practices, protective equipment and facilities. Storage conditions are stated on the product label and certificate of analysis. The toxicological properties of many research peptides have not been fully investigated.

Our right to refuse or cancel

We review accounts before first order and may request information about your organization and intended use at any time. We may refuse, cancel or refund any order, and close any account, if we believe products may be used outside of laboratory research — including where a customer asks for dosing, administration or treatment information, or describes an intended use involving humans or animals.

Responsibility

You accept full responsibility for the proper and lawful handling, use and disposal of products after delivery. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alto is not liable for any injury, loss or damage resulting from the misuse of any product, and you agree to indemnify Alto against claims arising from your use, misuse or resale of products in violation of this policy. Resellers must pass these restrictions on to their own customers.

This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions. Every order placed with Alto is subject to it.
